After qualifying in 1997 Gerry worked in general dental practise in Cape Town South Africa before moving to the UK in 1998.
In the UK he worked in General practise and sedation both on the NHS and Privately
Gerry gained his dental degree at Stellenbosch in South Africa. In 2008 he accepted an offer to study for an MSc in Oral Surgery at the University of Central Lancashire.
He followed this with an MSc in implant dentistry also at the Universiity of Central Lancashire. He then completed multiple further implant courses in Bern Switzerland, Zurich, Geneva and many more.
Gerry believes strongly in continuous education and regularly attends courses to keep his knowledge updated. He is a member of British Association of Oral Surgeons (BAOS) and the ITI (International team of Implantology).
He is also a mentor for dentist on the MSc pathway in implant dentistry. They have their practical training at St Faith as one of the approved training centres and Gerry is the trainer.
Gerry’s practise is limited to Implant dentistry and oral surgery.
